Dood is een stommerd, papa.

Dood is een stommerd, papa. - Michael Schophaus Ok this book doesn't get 5 stars for it's great story because it's everything but great. I cried my eyes out with this book.....

Two years, Jakob and the terrible diagnosis: neuroblastoma, a cancer that occurs mostly in children. On that day begins a grim battle to the death, between hope and fear. Jakob loves life. He seeks and finds his happiness in the carefree moments that he was not in bed or no pain, if he can bike or paint, or be with his beloved trees.

This book is a 'diary' written by Jakob's dad and takes you trough all the horrible but also fun moments that comes on their path.

It is impossible to read this book and nog love Jakob.....

This is not fiction. I read this book for research for my study.
